Knox Box Program

Fire Departments nationwide use the Knox System to help prevent expensive damage to doors and/or windows when forcible entry is needed while protecting lives and property.  The key boxes, vaults and cabinets hold keys, electronic swipe cards and vital emergency information for the Fire Department.  The Knox key switches and padlocks provide the Fire Department access through secured property gates, too.

As the property owner, you purchase a Knox Box device which is then mounted near your building entrance or property gate according to the Fire Department guidelines.  Firefighters use a unique high security Knox Master Key to open the Knox Box devices in their jurisdiction.

For more information, contact Assistant Chief Bryan Wallie at 570-421-5690 and leave your name, phone number, the best time to call and a brief message. Assistant Chief Wallie will return your call as soon as possible.
